I was so excited when I heard the news that friend and event planner extraordinaire, Ashley Rath of Dishy Events Planning was expecting a baby girl in the Fall. And I can’t tell you what an honor it was to be given the privilege of photographing her adorable little belly. Look forward to meeting the new little bundle of joy soon!
Despite the fact that the temperatures reached record highs, Melanie & Matthew had a picture perfect wedding day and were such a joy to work with.
Getting Ready photos took place at the Chase Park Plaza. Some fun photos followed at Forest Park’s World’s Fair Pavilion Grounds. The Ceremony & Reception were held at the 9th Street Abbey. An all star cast of vendors contributed to the seamless success of the day.

A group of financial advisors contacted Artistic Soup Photography for Business Portraits for their marketing materials. We made it simple and quick for them. A portable studio set up, a conference room and each individual had their own professional photo session without even leaving the office.

After given the honor of photographing Becca’s senior portait several years ago, her best friend Hillary’s senior portrait a year after that, and her brother’s engagement session, being asked to photograph Becca’s wedding was truly a cherished honor.

Angela was more than I could have asked for. She is kind and polite and very responsive to what I needed her to do. Besides her great attitude, the pictures turned out amazing! I couldn’t ask for anything better. The weeks before the wedding, she was very helpful in going over everything so that it all ran smoothly. We have a large family and she responded well to all the requests of pictures I wanted to get done in a short amount of time, and on the day of we were able to fit everything in. We just got our pictures in the mail and they all turned out better than I could have expected. Very creative and great quality! I first met Angela when she did my senior pictures a few years before. So when we got engaged, Angela was the first person that came to mind and I knew I didn’t want any one else. Both times were full of great pictures. So just know that if you have Angela take pictures for your occasion, you won’t want another photographer again.
