Lauren + Brian married under the new canopy known as the Alton Ampitheater on August 28, 2010. For those of you that love art as we do at Artistic Soup Photography we loved the beauty and uniqueness of this open air space. Reminding us of some of the Beautiful open air fabric artwork by Christo http://www.christojeanneclaude.net/, this setting made for a dramatic special union.
The couple’s reception was held at the Woodlands Golf Course. And with the fun group, great grounds and zooming around in golf carts it was a great time. One of the shots we did was one of our signatures, commonly known as the ring around the rosy pose stop action with the couple in the still in the middle. This was inspired by Henri Matisse The Dance. We originally thought of and created this pose back in 2007 and Lauren & Brian’s Wedding was near its anniversary date. Since then many wedding photographers locally and abroad have copied the pose and we find this to be a great honor and biggest compliment. The later rendition of the running wedding party was conceptualized roughly 6 months later.
Lauren and Brian thank you so much for allowing us to have fun with you on your special day, capture it beautifully and we wish you many many wonderful for years together!

Artistic Soup Photography photographed Julia & Tyler’s big day on August 14, 2010. They were married at the St. Louis Missouri Temple of Latter Day Saints in Chesterfield. Photos immediately followed and continued at the 9th Street Abbey in Soulard where family and friends gathered for the celebration. Texas native Tyler brought a cowboy hat to represent home which made a fun prop for a private kiss at the end of the night. Thank you Julia & Tyler for the privilege of photographing your wedding day. You, your families and friends were a true joy to work with!

Christine & Patrick Moseley were married on May 30, 2010. We just completed their Flush Moment Album of their beautiful album and wanted to share with our brides a hot off the press wedding album design. Quotes compliments of the wedding couple also utilized on their wedding day.

Jenna Kamholz and Wesley Janson were married on August 7th, 2010 at the pristine Washington University’s Graham Chapel.
Artistic Soup Photography had the honor of capturing their beautiful day!

After the ceremony the couple took advantage of the amazing stain glass and architectural beauty of the Chapel

Then with wedding party in tow we explored the campus ground for photos.

And they danced at the grand university entrance…

Before heading over to the Glen Echo Country Club a reenactment where Wesley proposed near the Jewel Box at Forest Park was a must.

The details throughout the event were truly breathtaking!

Thank you again Jenna & Wesley! And a big Congratulations!
