Bonnie & Scott were married just a little over a month ago and we were able to relive their beautiful day just recently again as we designed the pages for their album with the photos they selected.

They wanted a clean and simple album design with Black & White and Color mixed together as well as a few faded background images to give emphasis to the foreground imagery.

Bonnie and Scott an international pair, Scott from New Zealand and Bonnie a St. Louis Brigitte Bardot were married at St. Phillip & St. James Catholic Church in River Aux Vases.  The day was a picture perfect Fall day with a beautiful Fall colors and warm temperatures.

After the ceremony, the festivities continued at the Chaumette Winery which is a gorgeous winery near the historic Sainte Genevieve. Truly breathtaking…

Although I greatly enjoy and feel fortunate to manage such an amazing photographic team, I am looking forward to taking off my management hat and working along side my team again as a photographer starting this upcoming weekend for Lindsay and Kevin’s Wedding.

Just 4 weeks ago, I gave birth to another adorable little girl and as a result I had to stop shooting weddings myself over the summer.  However, I am proud to say Artistic Soup Photography did not miss a beat this wedding season due to my professional and very talented team of photographers.  In fact, in the month I gave birth, September, we did 6 weddings, 2 Open Air Photo Booths and 2 Engagement Sessions. And already in October, we have completed 6 weddings, 1 Open Air Photo Booth and 2 Engagement Sessions — A true reflection of teamwork.

Therefore I felt I could not simply get back to business as usual without thanking my entire team.  Particularly Christina who gave me peace of mind as project manager for the brief time I was in the hospital as well as Christina, Kristen and Shaun for processing a huge amount of wedding files while also shooting weddings along side team members Jessie, Brian, Len, Julie and Robin.  I greatly appreciated each and every one of you and I simply wanted to say formally THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ROCK!!!

Carrie & Adam had a beautifully elegant and classic wedding and reception at the Missouri Botanical Gardens.  An intimate gathering of family and friends joined together for the ceremony at the Chinese Garden and then after family formals and a scenic walk with photographs of the newlyweds the reception followed at the Spink Pavillon.  Yellow flowers accented the day and complimented the picturesque grounds with a splash of color.
